Honour the Lord with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase.

Two weeks of singing, one week of revival, one day of traveling, and one tired boy!!

For the past two weeks, I've been pretty much run ragged!

On June 17 & 19, Blood Bought went out to the middle of no where to sing at South Mountain Christian Camp. We had an awesome time! On Tuesday (17) a nine-year-old boy gave his heart to the Lord!! On Thursday (19) two young people got saved!! Praise the Lord!! It was so incredible. We sang the song "Amazing Grace, My Chains Are Gone", and all the kids began to sing along with us! It was incredible. I have pictures in the slideshow at the bottom of this entry.

On June 20, I went to Singing In the Foothills in Wilkesboro. What an awesome concert! All the proceeds go to support a local Christian Children's Home. What a great cause!! And the groups that were there were top-notch. The Booth Brothers, Gold City, The Collingsworth Family, Ivan Parker, and many more national recording artists were there. It was so good to see my friends - particularly The Booth Bros and the Collingsworth Family - that I've made throughout the years that I've been traveling.

June 21. Wow! What a day this was!! I woke up, and began to get ready to play for a wedding. Not just anybody's wedding... Matt Baker and Ashley Henry (my cousin) tied the knot after almost 6 years of dating! Aww! The wedding was absolutely beautiful!! After I finished with the wedding, I met up with Brittney and Courtney and we went to the 2nd night of Singing In the Foothills. The concert was awesome that night as well! Reggie Saddler and his family were there, along with my dear friends Karen Peck & New River; The Talley Trio and The McKameys were there as well and were AWESOME as usual!

The next week, my home church had revival with Bro. Brian McBride! I was spiritually refreshed!! Brian is an incredible preacher. He has the power of God on him. His messages were taken from the book of Romans, primarily chapters 8 thru 11. He brought out some points that I had never seen before.

Then, the following Saturday, we loaded up our "bus" (our 2001 Ford Expedition and 6' x 8' trailer to be precise lol) and headed down to Marion, SC for a concert. And what a time we had!! There were 3 soloists and 1 group (Blood Bought) that sang. Mr. RJ Henderson started off and did a fantastic job!! He's only 15, but he had incredibly vocal abilities! Then Mr. Adam Broyles came to the stage. He is only 14, but wow, oh wow, can he sing! Then My good friend Terry Carter came to the stage and sang his way into our hearts! Then Blood Bought sang. The service was so incredible!!

The next day, we loaded up once again and headed back home. It took us literally all day to get here, but we made it. :)

That brings us to today, and it's been nice just to be at home and rest. I love to travel and sing, but it is very tiring. It's also rewarding. I just for someone to come up to me after a service and tell me how they were down but that after hearing our singing, their spirits were lifted. It's incredible... It makes it worth every mile and every lost hour of sleep.

Ok. Here's the pictures! I hope you enjoy them!!

Love you all,
-Jacob
